Skip the orchid festival and see Don at the Kankakee and Frankfort Farmer’s Markets.Not only will you get lovely flowers, but you can buy lunch and get the fixin’s for supper. Enjoy the lovely weather (I hope) and welcome Fall. Saturday at Kankakee from 8-12 and Sunday in Frankfort from 10-2.

The Wisconsin Orchid Society will be hosting their annual show in the show dome at the Mitchell Park Domes. It’s always a great show with some really exotic orchids. Hours are 9-4 Saturday and Sunday. See you there!
